Optimized Files

The Optimized Files report provides detailed insights into all matching files that were optimized over a specified period. This report helps visualize how optimizations are performing across nodes and encoders, and what gains are being achieved.

Overview​

This report includes:

  • Summary

    • Total number of optimized files
    • Total original size of the files
    • Total processing time

  • Most Files
    Displays how many files were optimized by each processing node, along with a line graph showing daily optimization trends.

  • Largest Files
    Shows the largest files processed, including a line graph of total size optimized per day.

  • Longest Time Taken
    Lists files that took the longest to optimize, with processing times in minutes and a line graph showing daily optimization durations.

Detailed Insights​

For each file, the report includes:

  • The node where it was processed
  • The encoder used
  • The resolution of the file
  • The number of evaluations it took to determine optimal settings
  • The resulting VMAF score
  • The encoding value
  • The time taken to process
  • The amount of storage saved

This report is designed to help analyze optimization performance, track processing efficiency, and measure the overall impact on storage savings.
