Question: Windows Detecting Installer as Virus

The installer used by FileFlows (NSIS) may trigger virus alerts on Windows. While a digital signature could resolve this matter, the associated cost poses a challenge for this small-scale project.

To bypass the virus warning, you have two options:

  1. Allow Windows to disregard the warning for the installer.
  2. Download the ZIP version (installer-free) and manually install FileFlows wherever you prefer. This alternative eliminates the virus warning.
