Auto Tokens

The Auto Tokens feature allows you to configure automated token distribution for users. This functionality helps you manage token allocation on a regular basis, ensuring users receive a set number of free tokens automatically.

How It Works​

  • Token Distribution: For example, you can allocate 10 free tokens daily to each user. If a user has 90 tokens, they will receive an additional 10 tokens, bringing their total to 100 tokens.

  • Token Cap: If a user already has more than the maximum allowed tokens, they will not receive any additional free tokens. For instance:

    • If a user has 95 tokens and is eligible for 10 more, the system will limit their total to 100 tokens.
    • If a user already has more than 100 tokens, they will not receive any more tokens, even if they are eligible for more.

  • Eligibility: Users will only receive tokens if they have been created for a period longer than the specified timeframe. For example, if the period is set to one week, users must have an account older than one week to be eligible for the token distribution.

Settings​

  1. Enabled (Toggle Switch)

    • On/Off: Toggle this setting to enable or disable the automatic token distribution feature.

  2. Tokens

    • This is the number of tokens to distribute to each eligible user during the specified period. Enter the number of tokens you want to allocate.

  3. Maximum

    • Set the maximum number of tokens a user can have after receiving the automatic tokens. If the user’s token count exceeds this number, they will not receive any more tokens. For example, if the user has 95 tokens and is eligible for 10 more, but the maximum is set to 100, they will receive enough tokens to reach 100 tokens. If their token count is higher than the maximum, they won’t receive any additional tokens.

  4. Period

    • Define how often the automatic tokens are distributed. This setting determines the interval for token allocation (e.g., daily, weekly, etc.).

Example Scenario​

  • Tokens to Give: 10
  • Maximum Tokens: 100
  • Period: Daily

In this scenario:

  • A user with 90 tokens will receive 10 tokens on the next cycle, reaching a total of 100 tokens.
  • A user with 95 tokens will receive 5 tokens to bring their total to 100 tokens.
  • A user with 100 or more tokens will not receive any tokens during the next cycle.

This feature helps automate token management and ensures that users don’t exceed the desired token limits while still receiving regular allocations based on your settings.
