General

The General Settings tab contains the core configuration options for enabling and managing FileDrop.

Enabled​

  • Toggle to enable or disable FileDrop.
  • If disabled, users will not be able to access the FileDrop interface or upload files.

Session Length​

  • Defines how long users remain logged in before reauthentication is required.

Allowed Registrations​

  • Controls whether new users can register accounts.
  • If disabled, no new users will be able to register.

New User Tokens​

  • The number of tokens assigned to newly registered users.

hCaptcha Site ID (Optional)​

  • Enables hCaptcha for user registration to prevent spam.
  • If provided, users must complete an hCaptcha challenge before registering.

hCaptcha Secret (Optional)​

  • The secret key used to verify hCaptcha responses.
  • Required if an hCaptcha Site ID is set.
