Languages

The Languages report provides a comprehensive summary of languages found in the metadata for video, audio, and subtitles processed by FileFlows.

Report Details

Language Summary

This report categorizes languages into three types:

  • Video
  • Audio
  • Subtitles

Languages will only appear in the report if more than one language is detected for the respective type (video, audio, subtitles).

tip

Videos are often omitted from this report since many video files do not have a language set for their video tracks.

Data Visualization

For each type of language (video, audio, subtitles), the report includes:

  • Treemap Visualization: A visual representation of all languages found, highlighting their relative frequency.
  • Top Languages Table: A table displaying the most frequently occurring languages and their occurrence count.

Direction

The Direction setting allows you to specify whether to analyze inbound metadata (original files) or outbound metadata (files produced by FileFlows). This flexibility ensures that you can tailor the report to focus on the specific stages of your file processing pipeline.
