The Codecs Report provides an in-depth analysis of the different codecs processed by FileFlows. This report categorizes data into:

  • Video Codecs
  • Audio Codecs
  • Subtitle Codecs

Key Features​

  • Top Codecs: Displays the most frequently occurring codecs for each type.
  • Treemap Visualization: Provides a visual representation of all codecs, making it easy to identify trends and patterns.
  • Summary Insights: Includes a comprehensive summary highlighting:
    • The most frequently occurring codec
    • The least frequently occurring codec
    • The average frequency of each codec

Direction​

The Direction setting allows you to specify whether to use input metadata or output metadata for generating this report, giving you the flexibility to analyze codecs based on your specific needs.
