Reporting
FileFlows Reports offer a comprehensive way to monitor, analyze, and optimize file processing activities. Whether through on-demand reports or scheduled reports, users can stay informed about key metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance their workflows.
On-Demand Reports
On-Demand Reports can be run at any time by the user. These reports provide immediate insights and data based on the files processed up to that point. Users can generate these reports to get a quick overview of various metrics and statistics related to their file processing activities.
Scheduled Reports
Scheduled Reports enable users to automate the generation and delivery of reports at specified intervals. Users can define a schedule for when they want these reports to be run and have them emailed directly to them. The available scheduling options are:
- Daily: Reports are generated and sent every day.
- Weekly: Reports are generated and sent on a specified day of the week.
- Monthly: Reports are generated and sent on a specified day of the month. If the specified day exceeds the number of days in the current month (e.g., entering 31 for June), the report will be sent on the last day of that month (e.g., 30th for June, 28th/29th for February in leap years).
Report Contents
Reports generated by FileFlows can include a variety of data points, such as:
- Storage Saved: The amount of storage space saved through file processing.
- Codecs Used: The different codecs used in the processed files.
- Flow Elements Utilized: Details about the flow elements applied during file processing.
- Library Savings: Insights into the savings achieved within the library.
These reports help users to understand and optimize their file processing workflows by providing detailed metrics and insights.
Scheduled reports ensure that users receive regular updates and insights into their file processing activities without needing to manually generate reports.
